ARB, RIBA Registered Architect, MRIAI

Lesley trained in Northern Ireland, graduating with a first class honours degree in Architecture. Her thesis project won both the Royal Society of Ulster Architects Best in School Award and the Architecture School Design Award. The project was also short-listed for the prestigious RIBA President’s Silver Medal.

Lesley previously worked for Sir Terry Farrell + Partners on a number of large scale masterplan and office projects in Leeds Eastgate Quarter and Regents Place mixed use development.

Joining MoreySmith Lesley brings the design team a wealth of architectural knowledge and experience in the refurbished environment, more recently she has worked as a senior architect with Purcell on significant museum, gallery and mixed use re-development projects such as the Bristol Aero Space Museum, The British Museum, Cromford Mills, Croome Court, and Cardigan Castle.

Lesley is adept at incorporating imaginative contemporary design into historic and sensitive contexts. Though she enjoys working within the historic built environment, Lesley sees herself very much as a design architect. She believes that designs can be more creative within the specific constraints and rich context of the historic built environment. With her experience in all RIBA work stages, passion for detail and high end design context, Lesley collaborates closely with the directors to deliver projects of architectural excellence.
