“MoreySmith’s design for the new London headquarters of Aegis Group was the culmination of a two year strategic property review which saw Aegis consolidate from various buildings across London into a single headquarters and was the first move of its kind within the European industry.  The result is a vibrant and energised workplace with excellent facilities.”

Nigel Sharrocks, CEO, Aegis Media

The new London headquarters of Aegis Group, one of the world's leading marketing communications groups is in the heart of the capital within British Land's Regent's Place estate.

The move is the culmination of a two-year strategic property review, which sees Aegis consolidate from various buildings in central London into a single headquarters, and is the first move of its kind within the European industry. The eight-storey, 120,000 sq ft building accommodates 1,150 people and includes a ground floor café, first floor client-facing meeting suite and office accommodation on the second to eighth floors.

Central to the Aegis project brief was the need for the power brands to retain their identities, without compromising the need for different functional requirements, within an HQ building environment.

The relaxed ground floor café provides a communal space for events. It features a reconditioned vintage factory pendant light hanging from the exposed ceiling while large bespoke perforated plywood rafts define the main seating area. A bespoke, precast concrete servery counter combines with a mix of seating to create a cool, eclectic bar feel.
