Matthew Bonning-Snook, Director, Helical plc

Helical plc has relocated its offices from an old residential property on Farm Street, London W1, to a new building situated within Hanover Square. Located on the second floor, the 8,000 sq ft (740 sq m) office space has been designed from CAT A to create a stunning open plan workspace.

An important aspect for the design was to be able to showcase their brand identity, making it a working environment to be proud of and to demonstrate their own standards of excellence for potential new clients.

Helical plc wanted to demonstrate good design through its own work environment - a boutique residential feel that is welcoming, comfortable and stylish has inspired the design throughout, promoting professionalism, modern and collaborative working practices.

Helical plc also wanted to communicate its sensibilities as developers very clearly within the public part of the office, which included the large reception area and a client focussed meeting suite, made up of four individually designed meeting rooms. The meeting suite has a professional feel and demonstrates the aspirational and entrepreneurial approach of Helical plc. Each room has state of the art technology.

The office design successfully creates an open bright and collaborative environment for clients and staff areas alike. The distinction between the two areas is cleverly balanced through materiality and unique design features.
