MoreySmith has repositioned The Harewood, Mayfair for J.P. Morgan Asset Management; a 26,000 sq ft boutique office building in London’s West End. Originally known as 2 Harewood Place, the building has been carefully retained and reworked, extending its lifespan through the considered upgrade of the façade, reception, lift cars and lobby, WCs and second and third floors.

A soot-washed façade and the introduction of a marble arched porch create a calm arrival from Oxford Street. Internally, an eclectic palette of boutique finishes, including burr walnut, deep green mosaics and brass accent bring a renewed street presence.

The design is defined by materiality and contrast, pairing warm natural finishes to refined detailing in a response to the character of its surroundings and proximity to Hanover Square. A sustainability-led approach prioritises reuse over replacement, retaining embodied carbon while delivering a timeless environment.
