More than half of UK employees believe there are better opportunities for promotion when working in the office, but a quarter would consider quitting due to a poorly designed workplace. Seven in ten say the office has a direct impact on their health and wellbeing, while 57 per cent of staff aged 35 and under would not work for a firm with poor amenities, a study from the architecture studio MoreySmith found.
