We refurbished this Victorian property in Bartholomew Close, to provide 11,000 sq ft of contemporary office space in the heart of London’s Smithfield Conservation area, which is plentiful with old stock and listed buildings. The redevelopment of the heritage building for developers Helical, improves the aesthetic appearance of the building while retaining its 19th century character and sash windows.

The Grade A level refurbishment includes refreshed internal office space across 4 existing floors, characterised by the existing Victorian brickwork and an improved ground floor reception presence. The staircase, teapoints and bathrooms on every floor have been updated with a high quality, simple material palette, and new cycle storage, showers and changing facilities were designed at basement level.

An additional floor of office accommodation has been added at fifth floor level, as well as a new terrace offering outdoor access to both the fourth and fifth floor workspaces.
