Aldwych House

London
2013

Rowan Asset Management approached us to redesign the reception, atrium, light wells, bathrooms and one floor of an iconic, listed 1920s building known for its Art Deco façade. We created a contemporary architectural and interior design scheme which complimented the property’s Art deco features.

Our Art Deco design details include soft bronze finishes, a contemporary artwork chandelier and an upgrade to the decorative entrance gates, celebrating the building’s history while softening the clean lines of the atrium.

We opened up the eight-storey building with a light well that floods the space with natural light, creating a striking atrium and reception space. This draws people into the heart of the space, increasing connectivity and movement throughout the development.
