Argent approached us to review their company’s working practices and redesign their new UK headquarters, where their 100-strong workforce was to be based. We developed a concept focusing on flexibility, that would eventually become a fully agile working environment. Our design was awarded the first BREEAM Outstanding Office Fit Out in the UK.

Designed from shell and core, a central staircase connects both floors encouraging mobility and social interaction between the diverse workspaces and integrated marketing suite, including meeting booths, quiet study positions and informal breakout areas all within an open-plan workspace.

We placed workforce health and wellbeing at the centre of our design process by making sure that there is quality air ventilation and access to natural light. To create a positive impact on the company’s working culture, we also included a large kitchen and social area for informal knowledge-sharing and team events.
