COCA-COLA
London
2014
Set over four floors in London’s Fitzrovia, our design of Coca-Cola’s London headquarters is centred on the wellbeing and productivity of their 300 employees. The design unites the ornate building facade with a modern rear extension, while the interior expresses the brand’s heritage and place in popular culture.
Environmental considerations were paramount to the design of Coca-Cola’s new home and as a result, has been awarded a SKA Gold award, the market-leading environmental standard for evaluating the environmental credentials of a fit-out. The building includes features such as extensive LED lighting, reclaimed materials used throughout and Photovoltaic (PV) cells on the roof to generate electricity for the building.
A 4,000 sq ft. panoramic roof terrace accommodates a living wall which is visible from every floor, a barbeque area, apple trees and a wild meadow. The rooftop ‘oasis’ creates green space providing a habitat for insects and wildlife in the heart of the West End.
