Deskopolitan

Paris
2016

MoreySmith designed the first global co-working concept for Parisian-based brand, Deskopolitan, which launched at 48 rue Chateau d’Eau, Paris, the first of a network of co-working locations throughout Europe.

Our design allows the brand to evolve in different locations to cater for its members while always remaining recognisable through the use of certain colours and features. These include a range of assigned workspaces and flexible work settings to support drop in sessions, as well as artist studios, health & beauty suites, and spaces for open group collaboration and networking events. This diverse and progressive work environment was designed to appeal to start-ups and small businesses –the first of its kind in the French market.

The Chateau D’Eau community is spread over three floors, with a café, external courtyard and informal touchpoints at mezzanine level. All floors offer a range of flexible work environments for co-working including open, guest and club spaces.

“MoreySmith have done a wonderful job creating a concept as innovative as Deskopolitan and transforming the building for start-ups and companies of all sizes.

The team challenged existing layouts and demonstrated a remarkable attention to detail. Their involvement, personality and success inspired us. We are very pleased to continue the collaboration on our next coworking sites”. Alexis Rebiffe, Co-Founder of Deskopolitan
